Heaven Sent: Baltimore, MD Wedding Photographer
I met Amy and Dave through one of my favorite clients. I knew they were going to be fun from the moment I met them and they didn’t disappoint. They are an adorable kind couple and from what I can see and what I have heard they are perfect together. On Sunday, October 13th they married in front of their friends and family at the Inn at the Collonade in Baltimore. The days leading up to the wedding day were full of rain and many worried that we’d have much of the same on their big day. But Sunday morning, the sun was out and the love birds were chirping. I have a feeling that Amy’s mom (gone from this Earth but always with her family) had something to do with the sunny skies. In fact, I’d venture to say that she also had a hand in bringing Dave and Amy together.
The day was full of mementos and special moments. The bride carried a photo of her mom with her in her bouquet and a very special handkerchief. And let’s talk about that bouquet, made up of beautiful Irises that had been very special to Amy’s mom Pat. While there were some tearful moments, there were some really funny ones too. When the officiant asked for the rings, Amy’s maid of honor threw a pair of handcuffs at her resulting in laughs from everywhere including the bride and groom. The best man’s speech was… what do they say? legendary. Seriously, I have seen a lot of best man speeches and that one has got to be the best so far. He had props and jokes galore. While they were all funny there was also a little bit of truth to each one that made it even better. The wedding was truly an incredible event and I was so honored to be Amy and Dave’s photographer. Thanks guys! Congratulations again.
I hope you love your sneak peek.
