Love and Amusement: Maryland Wedding Photographer
Such a fun wedding at Glen Echo Park. Liz and Bryan were a blast to work with. I knew they would be once I worked with them for a super fun and different engagement session. There were lots of sweet details to this wedding. You’ll love them all, captured below. For starters, the bride and groom exchanged vows privately before the ceremony. It was a beautiful moment. How nice to have that time together. While the officiant, a friend of the couple and I shed a few tears during that moment, there were also some laughs. My favorite had to be the moment when Liz and Bryan engaged in a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors to see who would say their vows first :). After getting to know them, it’s not surprising. They are so much fun and enjoying life. I just know they are going to have a great life full of adventure together. I mean they got married at an amusement park, what do you think? 🙂
And now a little about this great couple in their own words:
“Skydiving camp out”
“On Friday the 13th, we woke up at 5am and borrowing Bryan’s brother in law’s car went to try November Project-San Francisco in the financial district. The morning started out with a lot of positive energy from the small tribe out west. After our work out we went back to his sister’s house to change into hiking gear quickly and head north to Muir Woods. Once we arrived Bryan and I chose a longer trail to hike through the woods in the morning light. Along the way we stopped on a bridge for a little too long and while enjoying the view I put my head down to rest for a minute and fell asleep. I woke up to Bryan calling my name gently, down on one knee near the end of the small bridge. (He had been planning it for months and thought I was going to find the ring all week while we drove up the coast from San Diego.) I was totally surprised. After we finished our hike we went to Stinson Beach where he shocked me again with a picnic lunch his family had put together for us and hidden in the trunk of the car, while I was changing for the hike. If Friday the 13th wasn’t already my favorite day, it would have been then!” ~Elizabeth
